After having a housekeeper for a while, you know how amazing it is to come home to clean floors, sparkling kitchen countertops, and seeing vacuum lines in your carpet. The joy of having a few days of cleanliness before the dishes start to pile up and the kids track footprints through the house can be amazing. To ensure that this feeling happens each time your cleaning service comes through your home, it is important to have a strong relationship with those who are cleaning your home. At White Glove Cleaning, we want to make sure that everything is completed up to and even exceeding your expectations. To help us make sure that we are doing the best job possible, here are some tips that will make the process go as smoothly and cleanly as possible.
Tidy Up Just a Little
It’s challenging to clean countertops, coffee tables, or floors that are covered with mail, books, or toys. By tidying up just a little, we can reach every nook and cranny that needs to be cleaned in your home. The farthest corners of the kitchen, the deepest crannies in the bathroom, and every inch of your floors. It might seem counterintuitive to clean before your cleaning service comes, but you don’t have to think about it as cleaning. Consider this as the quick rinse before putting dishes that are caked with food into the dishwasher. By taking a few moments to pick up miscellaneous items about the house, we can come in and finish the job, leaving you with a spotless home.
Talk to Us!
Communication in any working relationship is key to tasks being completed successfully. If we put a pile of mail in the wrong spot, if something has been missed that you really want to be cleaned, all you have to do is let us know and we’ll take care of it! It is possible that one of our house cleaners comes in one day and isn’t there for the next scheduled service, so we will keep detailed notes on what needs to be done and any special tasks that you would like completed. When you schedule our initial walk-through, let us know what you would like done and anything specific you think we should know. After that, if anything changes, just give us a call and we’ll add it to our list.
Will You be at Home?
If you are at home during a scheduled house cleaning, we ask that you please give us space to clean. If we’re cleaning the kitchen and you decide you need to make some chicken soup, try to hold off until we move to another room. Just like it’s challenging to clean when there are toys on the living room floor, it’s also difficult to vacuum and tidy the couch when someone is sitting on it. We understand that it is your home, but we want to do our best and need access to every room.
If you’re looking to hire a residential cleaning company, or if you want to grow a stronger relationship, feel free to give us a call to chat about what cleaning services you would like or let us know what we can do to improve. Our clients are important to us and we want you to come home to a clean space every time. From bathroom to kitchen cleaning, our professional cleaners want to help make your life easier.
